Susukoshi was founded in 2016 by Eve and Maggie, two passionate moms who had experienced the struggle of finding comfortable basic clothes that are effortless to style and survive for every fashion trend and season. Our aim is to provide something that children and mothers everywhere would love.
The label is strongly inspired by Japanese design and architecture, which pays attention to detail, functionality and quality in its simplicity. The word少 しsukoshi itself means "little" in Japanese. This word explains our goal of maintaining a more modest production scale that allows us to carefully hand-pick the fabrics, colors and all other details.
Our designs and collections have evolved but the same basic elements remain: sustainable, ethical, affordable, organic, unisex, effortless and suitable for all seasons, hence the muted neutrals and earthy tones.
We still have a long and exciting journey ahead of us. Our dream is to continue working towards a fully organic clothing line without diminishing the importance of quality and endless design.
With this label we not only create, but we hope to educate the younger generation about the value and importance of acting ethically and sustainably. We firmly believe that our little ones deserve the best.
At the end of the day, Susukoshi was born not to compete, but to change the world of little ones.
